​Over the past two years, Educate Without Borders has worked with the Boys and Girls Club of Newburgh to provide several services for children of all ages. With help from the previous director of BGCNNY, Ms. Felicita Colon-Cordero, EWB was able to start weekly book clubs at BGCNNY and also helped fund and build a brand new library there. Currently, we are working with the present director of BGCNNY, Ms. Dareshanie D’arpino, to provide more supplemental activities for children such as: building a library at the local laundromat, learning basic piano and singing skills, and participating at new book clubs at the Newburgh Free Public Library. We are excited to be working with BGCNNY and hope to start more programs alongside them soon!
